ReplyDeleteDid you just draw this character on paper, as a outline then scanned through a scanner to display on a computer?

ReplyDeleteYup, this drawing was done with 2B pencil, with HB for darker outlines on bristol paper, then scanned into Photoshop to clean up imperfections.

ReplyDeleteWell, there's many great books on drawing, but if your focus is comics, I'd start with the classic "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way". DC also publishes a great How To series that is very comprehensive. I'd also recommend a few books on perspective, if you do a search you can find a couple on perspective for comics.
The best thing you can do is practice practice practice.
