Travis' art on NBC's 'Heroes' tonight!

Specifically, the companion 'Heroes' online comic book!

I've pencilled 3 pages in the newest 'Heroes' comic episode "Fathers and Daughters".

(Pages 1 and 2 were pencilled by a different artist, but pages 3, 4, and 5 are mine! Oh, and just skip the annoying Nissan ad at the beginning, too.)

If you have Adobe Reader installed on your machine, the quality tends to be better on the pdf (printable) version.

The comic debuts after the show tonight, so watch the episode on NBC, then go to

http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/

and check out the T-Kotz pages!!!!

A portrait for my baby... Kristy and her brother Ryland. Posted by Picasa

A drawing of me and Jordan when we were kids... trying to be tough Indian warriors. This was a birthday gift for my Mom, who loves portraits of her kids (which can be a pain around Christmas, believe me. Just kidding Mom! Love ya!) Posted by Picasa

PIGGY!! Those who remember the short-lived Friday night beers around the time of Sly 3 will remember my Piggy. The Piggy Lighter, I mean. Posted by Picasa

Model sheets from a western animated short that lasted about a week. Posted by Picasa

An old zine-comic cover that i did with my buddy Jim. Posted by Picasa

Cyber-Infant. A sketch from way back that made me laugh. I used to have it up on my office door, and it always made my boss uncomfortable.  Posted by Picasa

A cartoon for my buddy Lara's birthday from a few years back... I have no idea, I thought it would be funny at the time. Posted by Picasa

Random angel chick sketch... Posted by Picasa

A Mother's Day card from way back when I lived in Dallas. And from way back when I used markers instead of computers. Now I kinda miss them... Posted by Picasa

Angel sketch.

Wolvie sketch. blah.

OLD Spider-Man samples from 2003.

Thought I'd post old stuff since it's been a while...

FINALLY!

The THIRD table sent to me from the manufacturer... the first TWO had to be sent back because they were (very) damaged. Now I can finally start drawing real drawerings, not just doodling in a sketchbook on my couch! HOORAY!!!!

SKULLBABY LAND CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS.

Hey all, just gonna say that I won't be posting for a while... Work and personal stuff is taking up a lot of my time. I've got a new project in the works but it's sure to eat up my recreational hours... and I'm sure it won't be ready to show for a while, but when it does, I'll be posting.

Bye for a while,
Trav

Tattoo Pt. 2- The underlying framework design

The underlying framework shown with the angel's linework superimposed... I tried to make the design have as much purpose as possible.. for example, having the angel's wings arc up and point to the passage in the top halo.

The underlying design (shown without angel illustrations). I tried to design all the curves, shapes, and spacial relationships with a purpose... Lots of "infinity" symbols (figure 8's), equallateral spaces, etc...

It's finally finished! Tattoo design for my buddy David.

Been working on this thing for quite a while... This is a tattoo design that my friend David asked me to do for him. It's a design in memory of his father William who passed away a couple years ago.

I'm really happy with the results... and glad to finally be finished with it, and happy to have given the design to him. Once it's inked around his arm (it'll be a full forearm sleeve) I'll post photos, but it may be a while!

The final design that will wrap around the arm (the compass meets in the back of the arm). I'm sure I'll do more obsessive little tweaks, but it's 90% done. Posted by Picasa
